Update
A lot has happened since I last blogged. We were having some major sleep issues with Ava, which have resolved. She is finally sleeping through the night most nights. And, to me sleeping through the night is when I put them to bed between 7 and 7:30 and they don't wake until at least 6:30. We tried the cry it out method about a month ago, which was a nightmare. I know others whose kids would cry for an hour or two and fall asleep. Not our Ava. We tried several nights, but one night she cried (screamed) for 4 hours straight and I finally went in there. I rocked her for literally 2 minutes and she was out. That is when I decided it was not for her and she would figure it out when she was ready. Well, that is what happened about 3 weeks later.
They are both rolling all over the place and are getting really strong. Ava is scooting backwards and has tons of energy. Cate is more sensitive and gets pretty much anything she wants from me. They love their exersauser and jumperoo and have started cereal and applesause. We are goig to start some vegetables this week.
We are having tons of fun with them, but I have to admit I am exhausted. I am so thankful for their early bedtime so Erick and I can spend time together and get things done. I hope you enjoy these recent pictures of the girls.

My girls. We can't wait to spend more time outside.
Tired girls. It amazes me when they do the same thing at the same time. That evening they kept doing the same pose. I guess it is a twin thing. Love it!!!
My little Cate.
The girls love books. Ava got messy and lost her outfit.
Cate fell asleep at the Arboretum.
Sharing a book.
Playing in the grass at the Arboretum. It was such a fun day with Julia, Luke and Grace.

Ava on a walk in the stroller
The girls first ride in the side-by-side stroller. They loved facing forward because they had so much to look at.
They are holding hands. They do that all day long!!!
