Wow, I am so excited we have made it to 36 weeks! My goal since the beginning was to make it to 37 which is just one week away now. I have been feeling really good, so I think I should make it at least one more week. I just pray they are big and healthy when they are born. My doctor said he would induce or schedule a c-section between 37 and 38 weeks if I have not gone in to labor on my own. It is still up in the air whether I will have to have a c-section based on the way the babies are positioned right now. Baby A is head down, but B is transverse. My doctor would prefer them both be head down, so he said we would have to wait and see how they are positioned when the time comes.
I don't think it has really sunk in that we will be parents in the next week and a half. I feel really peaceful about the delivery and have not been anxious at all. I am also really excited to find out the gender of these two little ones. I think they are either 2 boys or a boy and a girl. I would be completely shocked if we came home with 2 little girls. I am not sure why I feel this way, just intuition.
My belly has grown so much in the past few weeks - I hope that means they are packing on the pounds. I will post new pictures soon.

Update
I am 35 weeks today and still working. My last day is this Friday and I am really excited. I hope the babies do not come until at least 37 weeks. I want them to grow as much as possible before their birthday. Here are some pictures of my belly from about a week ago. It has grown since then, but I don't have any pictures. I have also included some pictures of the nursery. It is finished except for curtains and I am going to paint their names on the canvas squares once we figure out who they are. We do have names picked out. They are B/G Reid Michael and Cate Grace, G/G Cate Grace and Ava Faith, and B/B Reid Michael and Luke Cy. I am feeling really good and and am hopeful they will stay in there a little while longer. I can't believe these little blessings will be here within the next 3 weeks (they will induce at 38 if I have not had them yet).
I will paint the babies names on the canvas squares once they are born. I will use bright pink if either one is a girl and navy if they are boys.
Both cribs - I still can't believe we are having two.
Big belly. It has gotten a lot bigger and that was only a week or two ago!

It's About Time
I knew I would not be very good at updating this. Since it has bee so long, I think it's about time for an update. Erick and I have been working on the nursery and getting things together to prepare for the babies arrival. I can't believe they will be here so soon. I had another sonogram last Friday (29 weeks and 2 days) and baby A was 3lb 2oz and baby B was 2lb 12oz. The Dr. said it was completely normal for them to be about 6 oz different, and said everything looked great and they are right on track. I am still working full time and am feeling pretty good. I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions for a while, but they have not caused me to progress any which is good. I am able to do what I am doing until the Dr. tells me otherwise. Erick also finished they backyard. We now have grass and I love it.
Erick replaced some of the landscaping in the front, as well. It looks so much better.

Some updated belly pictures, including one bare belly!

Finished backyard with pretty grass!

Sulak family baby shower. Kim made an awesome diaper cake and I had such a wonderful time. Thanks for everything!!!

Vacation 2008
With two babies on the way, Erick and I decided not to take a big vacation this year. We decided to take a couple of days off work and go down to Port O'Connor to relax. It was the weekend of the annual Poco Bueno fishing tournament which draws a pretty large crowd. The winner this year brought in a 518 lb. blue marlin.
While we were there, Erick went fishing one morning around 6am with his dad and they caught 6 trout. The next morning Erick slept in, but his parents and their friends decided to take a 45 minute boat ride at 5am to try and get some fish. They ended up bringing back 40 trout. We could not believe all the fish they caught. I guess the old saying "the early bird gets the worm" is true. Here are several pictures from our weekend.

Beautiful morning view heading out to catch some fish.

At the weigh-in. This was not the winner, but the best picture we could get with the large crowd.

My Nephew Trent
Just thought I should add a couple of recent pictures of my precious nephew Trent. He is 11 months old and is such a good baby.

Baby Update
I am now 23 weeks and growing each day. I am truly thankful for everyday of this pregnancy and enjoy seeing myself grow at astounding rates. I can't believe the babies will be here in about 3 months! There is still so much to do, but Erick and I got a head start and purchased cribs. I really like the way they turned out. We bought them online and I wasn't sure how the color would turn out. Now we just need mattresses, a dresser, and a glider and we will be all set. I am still not sure how I am going to decorate. I think I will wait until the babies are here and we know the gender before I decide on accessories, etc. We are going with white bedding with navy trim and I will post more pictures when we get it all together.

Wedding, Baby Shower, and 22 weeks
This past weekend, Erick and I went to Victoria to attend his cousin Julie's wedding and to have my first baby shower. The wedding was beautiful and we had so much fun. My shower was hosted by two of Erick's moms closest friends Susan and Suzanne, Suzanne's daughter Christie and Erick's aunt Cindy. It was so much fun and I enjoyed being able to spend time with everyone. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

I am now 22 weeks. Here are a couple of pictures from the last couple of weeks. In the first I am 21 and the second 22 weeks 1 day. The babies are growing and growing and at my last appointment they were 14oz and 13oz. We got to see them again which is awesome. They are such miracles and I am so thankful for them.
